Introducing the New Right-Hand Drive Truck Crane

Having introduced our left-hand drive (LHD) truck cranes, the GT-750EL, GT-600EL and GT-300EL, last October, we are pleased to bring you the new right-hand drive (RHD) models, the GT-750ER, GT-600ER and GT-300ER. Those RHD models are geared mainly toward Southeast Asia, Africa and other left-hand traffic regions, so that together with the LHD models, Tadano can now respond to world-wide truck crane needs.

1. Product Concept
In emerging markets, there is strong demand from customers for high-quality truck cranes with high lifting performance, the capability to drive both on rough roads and at high-speed on highways, while ensuring dependable safety features, durability, and ease of maintenance. Cranes crafted in Japan will be the perfect solution to cover the needs of these customers because they provide excellent ownership value throughout their product life, including re-sale value as used cranes.
Additionally, right-hand driver cranes are a requirement in left-hand traffic countries. To meet these needs, Tadano is providing this new crafted-in-Japan quality, high performance, comfortable, and durable lineup of truck cranes with the option for either right or left-hand drive.

2. Primary Features and Advantages
1) Performance
These truck cranes have a strong and light high tensile steel rounded boom. The cranes feature lifting heights of 47.3 m (GT-750ER), 43.4 m (GT-600ER), and 34.0 m (GT-300ER), and working radius of 40.0 m (GT-750ER), 34.0 m (GT-600ER), and 32.0 m (GT-300ER).
Extra reach is provided by a 2-stage (9.0 m/14.3 m, 8.5 m/14.0 m) underslung jib which makes installation in narrow spaces simple and extends lifting heights to 61.2 m (GT-750ER), 57.3 m (GT-600ER), and 48.0 m (GT-300ER) with working radius reaching 48.0 m (GT-750ER), 44.0 m (GT-600ER), and 40.0 m (GT-300ER).

2) New Carriers with Excellent Drivability
The new GT-750ER, GT-600ER, and GT-300ER have new carriers that boast drivability on both rough roads and during high-speed travel on highways. They are equipped with leaf suspension in front and rubber mounted suspension, newly developed in collaboration with Hendrickson, in the rear. We ensured performance through a variety of in-house tests for both high-speed travel and rough-road durability. The cranes are comfortable to drive thanks to a convenient cruise control option, and are easy to maintain. They also have a new cab, which contributes to driver safety through the adoption of automatic transmission.

3) New Smart Chart System [for GT-750ER and GT-600ER]
With conventional cranes, outriggers extended to their maximum length provide uniform, circular rated load capacity footprints over 360° of slewing angle. However, thanks to Tadano's newly developed Smart Chart safety device and control system, the crane can achieve a square-shaped rated load capacity footprint, with extended "corners" over the rear outriggers that increases the load radius depending on the degree to which the outriggers are extended.

4) Good Fuel Economy
The GT-750ER, GT-600ER, and GT-300ER come equipped with Tadano's state-of-the-art fuel monitoring system; Eco-Mode, which reduces fuel consumption when the crane is being operated; and Positive Control, which reduces fuel consumption when the crane is on standby.

5) HELLO-NET Now Supported for Truck Cranes
Using HELLO-NET (Tadano's convenient telematics system), customers can monitor crane activity, work history, machine position, and maintenance information on a computer or mobile device.
Through this system, Tadano offers advanced customer support.
