Longtime customer Arabian Machinery & Heavy Equipment Company (AMHEC) signed a contract for 100 GR-800EX units<\/a><\/strong>, marking one of the largest orders by volume and, therefore, one of the most significant crane orders in Tadano\u2019s 105-year history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The addition of 100 new GR-800EX models will allow AMHEC to deploy new cranes that can handle their customers\u2019 extensive rigging operations and movements\u2014especially at drilling rigs\u2014across Saudi Arabia. AMHEC, which originated in 2007, is based in Khobar and serves as a major provider of crane rentals, heavy lifting, transportation, and rig move services across the kingdom. Their crane fleet exceeds 400, a notable percentage of which are Tadano models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The magnitude of this order brought leaders of Tadano and AMHEC together along with Saleh Abdulaziz Abahsain Co., Ltd., Saudi Arabia\u2019s distributor of Tadano Japan products for over 40 years. Tadano CEO Mr. Toshiaki Ujiie, AMHEC CEO Mr. Abdullah Faisal Al Suwaiket, and Mr. Saleh Hamad Al-Mogbil, Managing Director of Saleh & Abdulaziz Abahsain Co., Ltd., met at the Shido Plant in Kagawa\u2014where most of Tadano\u2019s rough terrain cranes are produced\u2014for the handover ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Ujiie welcomed Mr. Al Suwaiket with a golden key commemorating the 100-unit order for the GR-800EX cranes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tadano\u2019s reputation for safety, quality, and reliability already makes them a top choice to achieve these goals. Ongoing technological advancements that save fuel, reduce emissions, and streamline operations help to maximize efficiency, reducing costs in both the short and long term. For AMHEC, these features factor significantly into their decision-making when purchasing rough terrain cranes\u2014especially with an order for 100 new units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much of the feedback on Tadano cranes centers around how \u201cuser-friendly\u201d they are in the field, according to Mr. Jaber, Procurement Manager for AMHEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With such a large order, logistical plans are in place to ensure a proper delivery pace. For each delivery, services and training must be provided to help ensure AMHEC can absorb them into their fleet and assign them to the job sites across the country most efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The addition of 100 cranes will require significant additional training. AMHEC works with both Tadano corporate and their Saudi Arabian distributor Saleh & Abdulaziz Abahsain Co., Ltd. to get the necessary instruction, spare parts, and ongoing service such a large number of new units will require. Previous training sessions have been \u201cexcellent,\u201d as reported by Mr. Jaber as well as Mr. Sayeed Ahmed Babajan, AMHEC Procurement Supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
