Tadano expanded their reach in January with their exhibit at CES 2025, the annual advanced technology show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The goal was to showcase the company\u2019s vision for the future of crane technology as well as job sites, emphasizing how technology can enhance safety.

CES 2025 \u2013 billed as \u201cthe most powerful tech event in the world\u201d – took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center January 7-10. Over 141,000 attendees had their choice of 4,500+ exhibits.

One key theme of CES 2025 was electrification and automation of construction machinery, agricultural vehicles, and other work vehicles. Considering the serious labor shortage and the need to improve work safety, the need is growing for large vehicles equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) and automation functions. Tadano innovations fit this theme exceptionally well.
Tadano\u2019s official exhibit theme of \u201cSafety. Every Day. Every Lift\u201d underscores the company\u2019s commitment to advancing systems that integrate protective measures across operations, elevating safety standards and minimizing risk.

\u201cBy combining the skills and trust in \u2018safety\u2019 we have cultivated over our many years of history with cutting-edge technology, we were able at CES to promote our technology and solutions, which pursue the safety of people working on construction sites, to a wide range of industries,\u201d said Mr. Kosaka, GM for Advanced Technology Development Department for Tadano Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On exhibit was the work of Tadano Innovation Centers\u2019 evolving crane concepts, with key innovations including:

1) Suspended Load Motion Assistance<\/a>,
2) Surroundings Monitoring<\/a>,
3) Ground Collapse Prevention<\/a>, and
4) Prognostics and Health Management for Mobile Cranes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All innovations have the common goal of delivering safer, more efficient lifting operations.

\u201cWe received very kind comments from visitors,\u201d noted Mr. Kosaka, \u201cincluding \u2018It’s great that you have safety as a concept,\u2019 \u2018I’m impressed by the technological innovation that Tadano is trying to realize,\u2019 and \u2018I would love to introduce our technology to help make it a reality.\u2019

\u201cWe hope to use our participation in CES as an opportunity to discover new partners who can advance further innovation and technological development,\u201d he added.

Over 500 attendees and customers learned about these innovations at Tadano\u2019s exhibit, opening new potential for partnerships leading to further advancements, more suppliers, and faster testing and implementation on job sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
