His father Alessandro and his sister Irene, who manage the company together with him, share that opinion without reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They were particularly impressed by the innovative IC\u20111&nbsp;Plus control system, which determines the crane\u2019s lifting capacity for every boom position as a function of the superstructure\u2019s slewing angle so that the crane can always use the maximum capacity available to it. In addition, it is the most compact crane of its class with a width of 2.75 meters and a total length of 14.51 meters. \u201cIn combination with its 68-meter main boom, this makes it versatile beyond our wildest dreams,\u201d says Alessandro Fedeli. He adds that the Demag AC 160-5\u2019s axle load contributes to this as well, as the crane can travel on public roads within a 12-tonne axle load limit even when carrying a payload of 650 kilograms: \u201cThis means that we can forego the use of expensive escort vehicles for a bunch of assignments and keep things cost-effective for our customers.
