The Hungarian crane rental company Dunagep knows it can rely on the Demag brand. The company started to work with this manufacturer\u2019s cranes in 1993. Since then, they have become an integral part of the Dunagep fleet, which currently includes two AC 55\u20113, one AC 80\u20112, one AC 160\u20115 and one AC 500\u20112. The fleet of the Budapest crane service provider thus comprises a total of five cranes from Zweibr\u00fccken. And now, with the brand new Demag\u00ae AC 220-5, another one has been added, which Tadano Demag Sales Manager Andreas Schramm handed over to Troppert Ferenc, Technical Director at Dunagep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat particularly impressed us about our latest Demag crane were the 78-m-long main boom and the strength of the crane, particularly in the upper lifting capacity range,\u201d says Troppert Ferenc, citing two major reasons for purchasing the AC 220\u20115. But the technical director was also taken with the hydraulic main boom extension: \u201cIt saves our teams a lot of time on the construction site and thus makes our work particularly cost-effective,\u201d he explains. Other advantages of the Demag AC 220\u20115 are, in his view, the innovative IC\u20111 Plus control system and the possibility of working with asymmetrical outrigger configurations. \u201cAnd because we also attach great importance to a modern and powerful fleet, the AC 220\u20115 was simply the best choice for us,\u201d he sums up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dunagep will use its new AC 220\u20115 for moving machines during industrial installations and for other operations, primarily in refineries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
