The team at Philippsthal, Hesse-based crane service provider H&S Autokrane is clearly convinced of the quality of Tadano cranes. After all, three of the company\u2019s five cranes, including its latest acquisition, an AC 4.080-1<\/a>, are from Tadano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tadano Sales Manager Helge Pr\u00fcfer formally handed the new crane over to H&S managing director Matthias Schug, who traveled to Lauf specially for the occasion. Schug was delighted with his new machine. \u201cWith its 60-meter main boom and compact dimensions, the AC 4.080-1 is the gold standard in the 80-tonne class. It\u2019s simply a great crane,\u201d he said.He was also impressed with the high degree of versatility made possible by the large amount of counterweight that can be carried on the crane itself. Thanks to this feature, the AC 4.080-1 can serve as a highly cost-effective taxi crane for a wide range of jobs. This is greatly aided by the intelligent IC-1 Plus control system, which ensures that the operator can always take advantage of the crane\u2019s maximum available lifting capacity. In many cases, this combination eliminates the need for a separate counterweight truck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H&S ordered the crane with practically the full equipment package \u2013 including the Surround View camera system, which makes the machine very easy to position in tight spaces. In short: For the intended application areas \u2013 such as refineries or steel-frame construction projects \u2013 the crane is, in Matthias Schug\u2019s view, simply the best overall package on the market. But it\u2019s not just about the product itself. The H&S managing director is also very happy with the service: \u201cTadano really looks after me. Helge is great to deal with. He\u2019s a perfect fit for us, both professionally and personally.
