Which makes it all the more interesting that Claus Eisele, managing director of Eisele AG based in Maintal near Frankfurt, has been placing his trust in Tadano for more than 30 years. A new ATF-220-5.1 was delivered to the company just in time for Mr Eisele\u2019s 72nd birthday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018The Tadano cranes are workhorses that never let us down, in particular the 220-t-machines. Which is why we have ten Tadanos in total in our fleet and, with this new one, four 220-tonners,\u2019 says Claus Eisele, managing director of the crane and engineering service provider Eisele AG. Eisele founded his company as a towing service 33 years ago and can look back on a successful business development. Eisele AG now has more than 60 employees and a modern fleet consisting of mobile and indoor cranes. From advice through to rental and full service, the company provides all the services required by customers relating to cranes, transport services, company relocations and industrial installations throughout Europe. The company has been part of the H\u00fcffermann Group since April 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Flexible fleet<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fact that Eisele AG continues to innovatively develop is demonstrated by its recent portfolio expansion to include working platforms, forklift trucks and telescopic handlers. And it goes without saying that such a busy company does not compromise when it comes to crane technology. Which is why Claus Eisele and his team have been placing their trust in mobile cranes made in Lauf an der Pegnitz since the late 1980s: \u2018I have been in contact with Tadano continuously since 1986. All this time, the quality, service and performance of the machines have been just right.\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be able to cater even more flexibly to its customers\u2019 wishes, Eisele AG added a fourth 220-tonner to its fleet at the end of April, on the company founder\u2019s birthday. \u2018We ordered the crane fully equipped, together with a second winch and a hydraulic extension. Together with the three machines in this class we already had, we can flexibly assign our existing accessories and the additional equipment to the various cranes,\u2019 says Eisele, explaining the benefits for the company\u2019s own fleet. Immediately after the handover at the factory in Lauf an der Pegnitz, the crane with its full equipment was already in demand. 25 t heavy concrete parts had to be turned and lifted in 2-winch operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Efficient in any configuration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The detachable main boom likewise boosts flexibility. If this is taken on an additional truck, with its total weight of 40&nbsp;t, the ATF-220-5.1 remains within an axle load of 8&nbsp;t and can be driven directly to its place of work without any restrictions. If the boom remains mounted on the crane, the ATF\u2011220\u20115.1 without counterweight and with an axle load of 12&nbsp;t can still go on the road without the need for auxiliary transport assistance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When at its place of work, the 220-tonner makes an impression with its compact dimensions (15.2&nbsp;m long, 3&nbsp;m wide, just under 4&nbsp;m tall) and, of course, the efficient boom. With a radius of up to 38&nbsp;m and a hook height of 69.5&nbsp;m, the five-axle crane can cover a very large working range. Without a counterweight, ATF-220-5.1 can lift up to 64.1&nbsp;t. Claus Eisele: \u2018I\u2019m a fan of these cranes. They\u2019re powerful, comfortable to drive and robust. They also boast low operating costs thanks to the separate engines for the superstructure and the carrier.
