Expanding on the recent introduction of its aerial work platform (AWP) line in North America, Tadano, a global leader in lifting solutions, announces AWP industry veteran, Tyler Brown, as its AWP national business manager. The addition of Brown to the Tadano America team will help to expand support for its AWP business for the Pan-American operations.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cBuilding on our renowned reputation in the lifting sector, we first announced at bauma our intentions of introducing a full range of Tadano AWP models engineered for superior stability, safety and efficiency to the North American market,\u201d says Erik Elzinga, Tadano America vice president of AWP business development for Pan-America operations. \u201cWe followed through on this commitment for our customers and now have machines operating and available in North America. The addition of Tyler, who offers a wealth of experience in the AWP market, is a key next step in expanding customer support for this business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his new position, Brown will lead the North American sales team to continue introducing the Tadano AWP line to customers. Throughout his nearly 25 years of industry experience, Brown has worked directly for AWP original equipment manufacturers and rental companies and has held sales management and executive-level positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launching Tadano\u2019s AWP product offering in the U.S. and Canada is a direct result of the company\u2019s acquisitions of Nagano Industry Co., Ltd. \u2013 manufacturer of self-propelled crawler boom lifts \u2013 and most recently, Manitex International. Combining Tadano\u2019s lifting expertise with these two acquisitions has resulted in the most extensive range of boom lifts in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In March during CONEXPO-CON\/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas, Tadano will exhibit the range of AWP products available to contractors and rental houses throughout North America. The line features diesel and electric self-propelled tracked and wheeled models offering platform heights reaching 67-ft, 7-in (20.9 m). This includes the new AS-63HD making its North American show debut, offering the market a heavy-duty telescopic boom lift with a 2,200-lb (1-tonne) platform capacity, a platform height reaching 62-ft, 8-in (19.1 m) and maximum horizontal reach of 37-ft, 4-in (11.4 m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
