Patriot Crane & Rigging has been serving the hoisting needs of Nebraska contractors and businesses for over 14 years. And now those customers throughout the Midwest will have a 300-ton option with Patriot purchasing its first AC 5.250L-2<\/a><\/strong> all-terrain (259-foot boom, IC-1 Plus intelligence and the Surround View six-camera system) through Tadano\u2019s Nebraska distributor, RTL Equipment. Tadano introduced this exciting long-boom crane in 2025, and Patriot looks forward to adding such a powerful machine to its well-established taxi crane service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tadano AC 5.250L-2 is a 5-axle all-terrain crane designed to combine high lifting capacity with an exceptional reach, making it well-suited for urban construction, industrial assembly, and erecting large tower cranes. Rated at a maximum capacity of 300 US tons, it features an expansive 259-foot, 7-section main boom. This model also excels in transport flexibility. It can operate as a taxi crane with a 26,500-pound axle load configuration, carrying significant equipment while meeting road regulations. Additionally, its innovative counterweight system enhances versatility, allowing smaller trucks for transportation when space is limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
