Product Description

Tadano 65-Ton Boom Truck Crane Series: Smart Technology Meets Heavy-Lift Capability

With maximum jib tip heights reaching up to 209 feet, this series is engineered to handle complex lifts efficiently—whether working in confined urban environments or open industrial sites requiring maximum reach.

ROC Solid Radio Remote Control: A Smarter Way to Work A defining feature of the 65-ton series is Tadano’s ROC Solid radio remote technology, which allows a single operator to control outriggers, winches, and the front bumper stabilizer from anywhere on the jobsite. This eliminates the need for additional ground personnel during crane setup, reducing labor costs and accelerating cycle times. Outrigger monitoring and motion alarms keep every configuration safe and compliant across all job conditions.

Boom Reach Across the Series The 65-ton series spans two primary boom configurations to match a wide range of application requirements. The TC65131 delivers a boom range of 39.4 ft to 131 ft with a maximum jib tip height of 194 ft and a jib of 31 ft – 53 ft, while the TC65159 extends that capability with a boom range of 39.8 ft to 159 ft and a maximum jib tip height of 209 ft with a 38 ft jib. Both models share a 27.0 ft maximum outrigger spread, and self-lubricating slider pads minimize maintenance downtime across the full range of lift operations. Full 360° continuous rotation is standard throughout the series.

Operator Comfort and Integrated Intelligence The climate-controlled tiltable cab keeps operators productive through extended shifts in all weather conditions, while ergonomic controls reduce fatigue on demanding jobs. A color graphic display integrates the Load Moment Indicator (LMI), event recorder, WADS (Work Area Definition System), and HDRI into a single operator interface. Telematics and GPS monitoring with remote diagnostics capability provide fleet managers with real-time visibility into crane health and location, reducing unplanned downtime and optimizing asset utilization across the fleet.
