Environmental & Operational Safety
Tadano offers a range of safety features designed to help keep cranes compliant and secure across a wide variety of working environments. These include windspeed anemometers for monitoring site conditions, LED aircraft warning lights for aerial safety, and earth grounding interfaces for safe operation in sensitive environments.

Emergency Override & Control Features
In critical situations, emergency override functions help ensure the crane remains operational. Available options include hydraulic emergency override with powerpack, electrical emergency override, and hydraulic emergency lowering systems. These functions enable controlled retraction or shutdown in the event of a primary system failure.
Additional handling features include a central pin lifting device for counterweight handling, an HR reeving winch, and an emergency release system for pinning the main boom.

Refinery Kit
Designed for high-risk environments, the refinery kit enhances crane safety and ensures compliance with demanding industrial requirements. It includes emergency stop controls for rapid response in critical situations.
An integrated air intake shut-off system automatically stops the engine in the event of overspeed or hazardous gas intake, helping prevent dangerous incidents. The system is certified to meet stringent industrial safety standards.

Electric Engine Stop
The electric engine stop system provides an additional layer of safety through emergency stop controls. It enables a quick and reliable engine shutdown to meet specific on-site safety requirements and increase safety in potential emergency situations.

Emergency Recovery Device
The emergency recovery device ensures crane operability even in the event of a power failure.
Powered by a certified 50 kW diesel-hydraulic system, it enables all critical crane movements to be carried out independently, including outrigger and counterweight operations. It also allows safe telescoping under load, ensuring maximum operational continuity and safety.
