Gradito Oleodinamica needed a crane capable of delivering high lifting performance across a wide range of applications, while maintaining flexibility and efficiency when moving between different job sites.
The Tadano AC 5.250L-2 meets these requirements with a 79-meter main boom and a maximum system length of 109 meters. Its exceptional reach and impressive lifting capacities make it particularly well-suited for industrial maintenance, plant construction, infrastructure projects, and the installation and handling of bulky or heavy components.
At the same time, the five-axle carrier and efficient transport configuration allow for rapid, cost-effective transfers between jobs. Furthermore, the ability to quickly detach the boom and consequently reduce the machine’s total weight to 40 tonnes (8 tonnes per axle) facilitates travel on roads with strict weight limits.

Advanced technology for efficient operations

Tadano’s IC-1 Plus crane control system calculates the available lifting capacity for any given boom position based on the actual outrigger configuration and the crane’s slewing angle. This allows the machine to make optimal use of available capacity, even at industrial sites with limited space where fully extending the outriggers is not always possible.
The optional Surround View camera system further assists the operator during crane positioning and setup by providing a clear overview of the surrounding area, the space required for outrigger extension, and the tail swing radius of the superstructure.
Eco Mode and the engine start-stop function help reduce fuel consumption, emissions, and engine operating hours during idle periods. Self-rigging boom extensions also facilitate rapid setup and offer greater flexibility for jobs requiring additional reach.
