Part of the Platinum line, the PM 40.5 SP Series is engineered for maximum performance in demanding lifting environments. At its core is a continuous slewing ring system that delivers smooth, precise motion and exceptional durability under heavy workloads.

Its 90° gearmotor design eliminates obstructions beneath the machine bed, removing installation constraints and allowing seamless mounting on both mobile trucks and fixed bases.

With standard configurations offering up to 8 hydraulic extensions, the PM 40.5 SP achieves horizontal reaches of nearly 20 m and vertical outreaches exceeding 24 m, providing operators with outstanding versatility for complex lifting tasks. Optional jibs extend this capability further, featuring up to 5 hydraulic extensions with a –20° negative working angle for maximum flexibility.

With standard configurations offering up to 8 hydraulic extensions, the PM 40.5 SP achieves horizontal reaches of nearly 65.6 feet and vertical outreaches exceeding 78.7 feet, providing operators with outstanding versatility for complex lifting tasks. Optional jibs extend this capability further, featuring up to 5 hydraulic extensions with a –20° negative working angle for maximum flexibility.

Equipped as standard with a multifunction radio remote control, proportional compensated valve block, and heat exchanger, the PM 40.5 SP ensures precise and efficient operation. The Power Tronic electronic management system continuously monitors crane dynamics in real time, optimizing lifting performance and ensuring safety across all operating conditions.

An LC version is also available, featuring a hydraulically retractable first boom for easier close-range lifting and improved loading under the column. Combined with stabilizer spreads of up to 7.4 m, the PM 40.5 SP achieves impressive stability and maneuverability — making it the ideal solution for operators who demand both power and installation versatility.
