Distributors in GCC Took Part in a Tadano Middle East’s Expert Training and Test for Spare Parts

A Year of Learning and Growth

Looking back at 2025, it was truly a year of growth for our Tadano spare parts sales teams across the GCC. What Tadano Middle East (TME) started as an effort to strengthen technical knowledge gradually transformed into a shared learning journey—one that brought our distributors closer, improved confidence, and built a stronger foundation for customer support. Throughout the year, TME’s focus remained simple: help our teams learn better, faster, and together.

Tadano Middle East introduced a series of online and onsite training sessions to reach as many people as possible in a meaningful way. The online sessions held in July’25 and August’25 brought together 42 participants from different GCC regions. Even though the sessions were virtual, the interaction and energy stayed high. Over eight one‑hour classes, teams explored the basics—how to identify parts correctly, how components function and where they are located, how to search part numbers using Tadano’s online tools and catalogues, and how to make better use of parts bulletins and the features of the tools. These discussions also highlighted areas where many participants needed more support, such as understanding replacement intervals, legacy products, and some of the deeper features available in the tools. These insights helped us TME members shape not only the training content but also  the understanding of what our teams truly need.

To complement the online sessions, members of TME travelled across Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia to conduct onsite training for 28 selected participants. These trainings were jointly carried out by Mr. Nakajima – Senior technical Advisor & Mr. Vishnu Rajan – Spare parts Coordinator of TME. Being around real cranes, touching actual components, and using catalogues books face‑to‑face created a hands‑on experience that no virtual session can fully replicate. These onsite trainings also served as strong preparation for the first-ever Tadano Expert Test for spare parts.

November 2025 marked an important milestone—TME’s original very first Tadano Expert Test for Spare Parts of Tadano Japan products.  It was conducted in each region in GCC, with candidates selected jointly by TME and the distributors. The test wasn’t just about passing or failing—it was about understanding where our teams stand and how we can help them grow. With a passing score set at 75 and above, five participants successfully qualified, demonstrating dedication and strong technical capability. Their achievement sets a wonderful benchmark for the coming years.

Looking ahead to 2026, TME is excited to expand the training coverage even further. This year, they plan to include ATF, AC, and CC products in the training roadmap. TME will also evaluate the possibility of introducing the Expert Test for Tadano German products, depending on how comfortable the teams feel with the material. Whether online or onsite, training formats will be tailored to the needs of each topic to ensure learning remains practical and effective. They also look forward to incorporating new topics suggested directly by our distributors—because the best learning programs are the ones shaped by the people who use them.

Throughout this journey, our commitment remains unchanged: to support every spare parts sales staff member in becoming more confident, more knowledgeable, and better equipped to serve Tadano customers. Continuous learning isn’t just a goal for us—it’s a culture we are building together. And with every session, every test, and every new idea, we move one step closer to that shared vision.
