Newly Established Sales and Service Company to Begin Operation in Chile

Tadano Ltd. (President and CEO: Mr. Koichi Tadano) is pleased to announce that we have established a sales and service company of our Group products in Chile, and that it is ready to begin operation.

1. Background
The Tadano Group has set "Becoming No. 1 worldwide in the lifting equipment industry" as its long-term goal, and is working to strengthen sales and expand market share of Group products outside of Japan. Tadano Ltd. established sales and service companies in Brazil and Panama to serve the Central and South American market. However, in order to get closer to the southern region of South America where demand for cranes is high, and to build a more locally-based sales and service system there, we decided to establish a new subsidiary in Chile.
The company was established in November last year, and we are now ready to start its operation on May 1st this year. This company will take over the function of Tadano Panama S.A., located in Panama. We believe that Central and South America is an important market for us with great potential moving forward. We aim to further increase sales and share in this market.
