Justin Andrews Receives CCRA Award

The 2026 Canadian Crane Rental Association Annual Conference was recently held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and it was a special event for Justin Andrews. He is the Tadano Regional Business Manager for all of Canada and has served on the Board of Directors of the CCRA for the last six years. Justin has been especially effective while co-chairing the Weights and Dimensions committee, where he could affect positive change in policies regarding axle weights for all-terrain cranes.

With this year’s Annual Conference marking the end of Justin’s second and final term as a member of the Board, the CCRA presented him with a special Talking Stick Award. This First Nations sculpture by a renowned Vancouver artist included a wolf motif, symbolic of family unity and togetherness – characteristics that Justin brought to the Board. Here are some comments from the CCRA Leadership:

Mike Lavoie, Incoming CCRA Chair, Myshak Crane & Rigging Ltd.
It was a pleasure working with you over the last 5 years. You played a huge part in our success on the weights and dimensions committee, and helping advance the western provinces on axle weights for All Terrain Cranes! I look forward to what we can achieve in the future. Thank you for everything you’ve done, your contributions and engagement in the association.

Claire Bélanger-Parker, CCRA Executive Administrator
Justin, you are the one whose mentorship transformed the industry. You taught me everything I know about cranes, and I still have much to learn as we continue to work together. I look forward to our next collaboration. Keep rising to your full potential. You have touched my life, and I will forever be grateful for everything you have done for the Canadian Crane Rental Association and for me personally.

Ryan Long, Outgoing CCRA Chair, A.W. Leil Cranes & Equipment Ltd.
