Based out of Duncan, Oklahoma, WW Builders Inc. has been a stalwart construction services firm for over 30 years, offering general building, earthworks, concrete, plumbing and roofing. And they have now added a new crane that will help with many of their construction applications — a Tadano PM 38525 SP + J813.20 (38.5 tonne-meter knuckle boom crane and jib). WW Builders Inc. worked with Tadano distributor BTE Body Company, Inc. to find the perfect solution for lifting items at distance and getting materials moved on and off jobsites.

WW Builders Inc. had never owned a knuckle boom crane before, but they are very excited for the potential it has to be a problem solver on several building applications. This new Tadano PM 38.5 SP series crane will begin its work in Arkansas, performing materials handling on an important Air Force Base project.

The PM 38.5 SP Series belongs to the Gold line of knuckle boom cranes, designed to provide outstanding lifting capacity while maintaining compact dimensions and relatively low weight for its class. Built with a robust rack-and-pinion slewing system, it guarantees durability and dependable operation even under heavy-duty use. Available with up to eight hydraulic extensions, the PM 38.5 SP achieves significant outreach in standard configurations. For even greater versatility, jib versions with up to five extensions and negative angles of 20° are available, further expanding both horizontal and vertical working range.
