Thai crane rental company PTK Crane Center Co., Ltd. crossed the 100-tonne capacity mark in its fleet offerings by taking delivery of Tadano’s rough terrain crane model GR-1000EX-4.

PTK Crane currently rents cranes to a variety of customers and contractors, including many who are working on renovations and expansion for the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, a major national project costing 12 billion Thai baht and slated for completion in September 2022.

Projects like these often require work in crowded and tight spaces, which helped lead PTK to their purchasing decision with Tadano.

“This high-quality crane is suitable for working in limited space and rough areas,” said PTK representatives, “its performance is beyond the expectation.”
The February 2021 delivery is the first of two GR-1000EX-4 cranes purchased from Tadano Italthai Co., Ltd. Delivery will be taken on the second unit later this year.

“We understand that the assembling time for the unit is a few months, but it is okay to wait. We believe in the Tadano brand and its great quality; that is the reason why we bought two units.”

To help fulfill demands for that project as well as others, PTK Crane also worked with Tadano Italthai Co., Ltd. to acquire two additional GT-750ER truck crane that will complement the two GT-750ER already in their fleet.

Tadano’s growing relationship with companies like PTK Crane Center, Ltd. is a result of increasing efforts in Thailand and worldwide, pursuant to their goal of “Becoming #1 Worldwide in the Lifting Equipment Industry.” After designating the country as an important region for their business, Tadano established a sales and service company in Thailand in 2013. By 2017, Tadano Italthai, Ltd. formed as a Thai-Japanese joint venture between Tadano and longtime Thai distribution partner Italthai Industrial Co., Ltd. Over the past four years since, Tadano Italthai has tremendously assisted Tadano’s sales and service efforts in Thailand since 1982, including with PTK Crane Center Co., Ltd. as they continue to grow their fleet with their new GR-1000EX-4 model.

“We are so proud to have this unit in our stock,” said PTK representatives, “It brings up our company’s reputation and trust by our high-value customers. Our intention is to develop the best potential in staff and machines to meet customers’ needs.”
