On the 5th of October 2023, representatives from Arabian Consolidated Training (ACT) Crane & Heavy Equipment in Saudi Arabia together with Tadano Saudi exclusive dealer “Saleh & Abdulaziz Abahsain Co” toured the Shido Plant and the Kozai Plant, where Tadano also has its corporate headquarters. Plant tours and meetings often follow large crane orders.

ACT recently took delivery of 14 (Fourteen) GR-800EX and 4 (Four) GR-1000EX-4, total 18(Eighteen) Rough Terrain Cranes from Tadano Saudi Arabia exclusive dealer Saleh & Abdulaziz Abahsain Co, part of a significant expansion to their crane fleet amidst the expanding market opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

The trip to Japan gave ACT representatives the closest possible look at the design, manufacture, and delivery of Tadano cranes along with the opportunity to meet with leadership at the highest levels.

“Tadano is well known as a great manufacturer of Rough Terrain Cranes and All Terrain Cranes, and for being safe and reliable,” said Mr. Hassan Mohammed Al-Naimi, Chairman and Mr. Mohammad Hassan Al-Naimi, CEO of Arabian Consolidated Training (ACT) Crane & Heavy Equipment.

ACT was established in 1986 and undertook a major expansion in 2006. ACT maintains a fleet of roughly 250 cranes; the new GR-800EX crane models will primarily be used on two major ongoing construction projects in the region and for projects related to Riyadh Expo 2030

Representatives from ACT were accompanied by Mr. Yasuaki Kishimoto, the CEO & President of Tadano Middle East L.L.C. and Mr. Saleh Hamad Almogbil, the Managing Director of Tadano Saudi dealer Saleh & Abdulaziz Abahsain Co (Abahsain) during meetings with Tadano’s Research and Development staff along with Mr. Norihiro Kawai, Assistant Manager of the Mobile Crane Sales Department for the Asia-Pacific Division.

“We were impressed with the well-organized production line and clean factory,” noted Mr. Al-Naimi.

While in Takamatsu, ACT & Abahsain representatives reconnected with top management including Chairman of the board Mr. Koichi Tadano, with whom they have a longstanding relationship.

They also met with President & CEO Mr. Toshiaki Ujiie, Global Officer Mr. Hiroyuki Goda, Unit Manager Mr. Masanori Oshima and Assistant Manager Mr. Yudai Masuda from Research and Development in the Lifting Equipment Development Department to nurture the relationship with Tadano well into the future.

Regarding the sales process for the fourteen GR-800EX cranes, Mr. Al-Naimi touted the “fast and professional support” of the delivery from Tadano’s Saudi Arabian distributor, Saleh & Abdulaziz Abahsain Company Limited, and Tadano Middle East L.L.C (TME).

“Our past experience with Tadano products has been excellent,” he added, noting the on-time delivery, efficient & prompt aftersales support by Abahsain, clear communication during the process, and thorough training. “Abahsain and TME are always very supportive; we have a long relationship.”

Following the Tadano factory visit, ACT expressed recognition of the company’s commitment to producing high quality products. “Competition is getting severe,” Mr. Al-Naimi noted, “Quality and reliability is a must, and those are the two primary features we see in Tadano cranes. It will be necessary to continue high quality with reliability and with advanced innovations, like electrification, for the future.”

Feedback from these customers, including during meetings with R&D staff and management at plants and the company headquarters, helps ensure Tadano cranes maximize safety and efficiency at the job site.

Mr. Hassan Mohammed Al-Naimi from ACT states, “We never compromise with our vision, mission, and some values on which we rely. The appreciation from the existing customers is the best reward we can get and the best asset for future growth.” The ongoing relationship between Tadano, ACT and Abahsain exemplifies how these values are shared by these companies.

Tadano looks forward to welcoming more customers for factory tours through it’s exclusive dealer Abahsain and meetings with managers, researchers, and employees to enhance these important relationships.
