Tadano Asia Pte Ltd. and its exclusive Philippines distributor Monark Equipment Corporation are pleased to announce the first delivery of the GR-900EX-4 model crane in the Philippines.

Hammer Head Builders and Development Corporation selected the highly touted rough terrain crane after careful analysis by engineers and management. The GR-900EX-4’s first assignment with Hammer Head is already taking place on a major project with Taiheiyo Cement, where they will perform both demolition and expansion work at one of the company’s plants.

“The Tadano brand has good quality and durability,” said Mr. Manny Javines, Managing Director and President of Hammer Head Builders, while addressing why they chose Tadano. He also noted that acquiring the GR-900EX-4 allowed the company to promote their expanded project capacity while reducing their bid costs.

The 90-ton capacity GR-900EX-4, known for its remarkable reliability and uptime, features an asymmetrical outrigger extension width control, an integrated counterweight, sequential and non-sequential telescoping modes, and the popular HELLO-NET system. Its maximum lifting height of 47.1m (64.4m with the bi-fold jib) and maximum load radius of 42m (52m with the bi-fold jib) made it ideal for Hammer Head’s multi-faceted project with Taiheiyo as well as future customer projects.

Javines, while expressing the quality of Tadano products in general, also credited Monark Equipment Corporation with cementing their decision to acquire the GR-900EX-4. “Monark Equipment is very cooperative, prompt in their sales, and easy to call on services and queries,” he said.

Hammer Head Builders and Development Corporation conducts foundation, civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical contracting work, including demolition and dismantling. Accredited as a Quadruple-A contractor by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), they have numerous locations throughout the country including Antipolo, Rizal and an office in Makati, Metro Manila.
